We re hiring entry to mid-level transportation administrative assistants to assist the transportation department of a fun and unique distribution center in South Charlotte.

what would you be doing?

Transportation Admins are great at communicating with clients, management, and transportation vendors. Should be organized and able to go through multiple databases to track shipping information. Transportation admin should be able to work independently as well as handle any stressful situations professionally.

Maintain accurate tracking records for shipments across multiple distribution centers

Communicate with carriers to ensure shipments are being delivered in a timely manner

Partner with Store and Field Operations on concerns related to shipments

Provide updates to Management in cases of discrepancy related to tracking shipments

What we need from you:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months to one year of supply chain and or Logistics experience and/or training;
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and strong Excel skills.

South Charlotte area, around Westinghouse Blvd. Work Monday through Friday (Some weekends required) on a Morning or Afternoon shift with overtime opportunities.

Expected salary: $19 per hour
