This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Experience in the following technical disciplines:
5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL 2016 or later with experience writing TSQL, user defined functions, and stored procedures
5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Integration Services (SSIS) and designing packages within Visual Studio
Experience with Data Warehousing concepts
Experience with ETL concepts including full and incremental load strategies
Experience with Microsoft .NET (C# and VB)
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to understand complicated technical issues
Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL automation
Develop and maintain SQL database objects and SQL Agent jobs within data warehouse
Perform some afterhours secondary support for automation jobs
Work collaboratively with application owners and application development teams of source systems to triage and resolve data quality issues
Work collaboratively with our clients to help identify requirements and acceptance criteria to achieve business objectives
Provide ongoing technical process documentation updates to assist knowledge, uniformity and continuity for the entire team
Perform access lifecycle management and compliance mandate tasks for application functional IDs
Drive application maturation by offering improvements that make the product better, faster and cheaper
Maintain the health of our SSIS and SSAS server infrastructure
Desired experience in the following:
Experience with RESTful APIs such as Apigee
Understanding of OLAP and fact/dimension table relationships
Exposure to SourceTree, Bitbucket, and JIRA
Exposure to Postman
