Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Software Engineering Advisor for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Job Title: Software Engineering Advisor

Location(s): Bloomfield, CT *REMOTE*

Role Type: W2 ONLY/NO C2C or W2 AND C2C

Contract Length: 6 months with the potential for extension/conversion.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain high quality digital software for SPA applications that provide self-service capabilities to our customers
• Develop cloud native web services that are reusable and scalable
• Write clean, secure, efficient and modular code
• Simplify and improve existing application code ensuring high unit test coverage
• Identify potential problems and resolve platform bottlenecks
• Collaborate with team members, product owners, user experience team, and other engineers to define, design, and publish new features
• Maintain cutting edge knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards

Required Qualifications/Experiences:

• Proficiency with Typescript, Angular, NgRx, Node, Koa, Express
• Extensive with Single Page Application frameworks and reusable components
• Experience developing public (client-side consumable) APIs
• Experience with web application security practices
• Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science or software engineering

Desired Qualifications/Experiences:

• Experience with monorepo
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies and concepts: Lambda, KMS, Edge Gateway, Elasticache, DynamoDB
• Experience with AWS EKS, Docker or other container-based solution
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
