As Real Estate Analyst, you will be a critical member of the real estate team to lead underwriting, financial analysis, and data for new opportunities. This is an exciting role to work with an experienced team of hospitality and multifamily professionals and work with real estate owners and operators in a multi-billion dollar segment building the future of living. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, motivated, and passionate about real estate, hospitality, and real estate technology.

How you’ll contribute
Build complex real estate financial models, trackers, and reporting sheets with Excel and Google Sheets
Create and develop multifamily, hotel, and flexible living revenue forecasts and proformas using various data sources such as RealPage, Yardi, CoStar, Smith Travel Research, AirDNA, Transparent, etc.
Underwrite potential real estate opportunities in a variety of ways including: management, lease, revenue share, and as GP or sponsor
Prepare financial projections and revenue forecasts for deals, investors, and clients
Track deal flow and overall pipeline and develop insights and recommendations based on data sets
Order, prepare, and parse data sets and available information on multifamily properties, hotels, short-term rentals, and vacation rentals
Prepare proposals and memorandums for the leadership team and investment committee and for potential partners and clients
Tour properties and sites, if needed, and meet with potential partners, clients, and stakeholders
Develop and maintain strong understanding of hotel and multifamily trends, insights, market data, and jurisdictional rules and regulations
Problems you’ll solve
As Real Estate Analyst, you will have an immediate impact on the company and will be critical to portfolio growth and profitability.
In your first 30/60/90 days, you will regularly meet, collaborate, and work closely with managers and the leadership team to:
Underwrite new real estate opportunities and create revenue forecast for hospitality deals
Support multifamily and hospitality team members to better organize and understand property-level and unit economics
Develop and present strategic materials for investors, board meetings, and senior leadership
Establish and maintain company initiatives, mission, and KPIs to progress the business and drive real estate growth
