Job description: Job Description: The Reality Labs (RL) Research Team brings together a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to create the future of AR and VR, which together will become as universal and essential as smartphones and personal computers are today. RL Research is looking for the next generation of scientists and engineers to tackle the most ambitious problems in wearable computing.

We are looking for an experienced project coordinator who will be responsible for managing organizational aspects of the team’s research programs. This would involve tracking and monitoring of project progress, developing and maintaining processes to increase the team’s efficiency, assisting in scheduling and logistical coordination, and facilitating communication and documentation across the team.

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with researchers to define and keep track of their project schedules and deliverables.

Collect, monitor and ensure the team’s project needs are met around procurement, hardware, software and research studies. Coordinate with other teams when necessary. Escalate blockers and challenges with TPMs when necessary.

Prepare regular reports on program status and other communication/documentation as needed.

Work closely with TPMs to organize larger events such as planning workshops or demo days.

Work closely with TPMs to maintain and develop new processes, best practices and supporting tools to improve the efficiency of team meetings, project monitoring, status updates, team logistics and operations.

Skills:

3+ years of project coordination experience

Strong written communication skills

Independent, driven, eager to learn, and share information with other team members

Detail Oriented

Interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of technical staff

Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience/education.

Nice to have: experience working in a research environment, in particular with human-computer interaction, AI or UX researchers.

Comments for Suppliers:

Expected salary: $58.09 per hour
