Our Media Leads partner with our media execution teams to develop, measure and optimize cross-channel media delivery strategies across established and emerging platforms within both digital and traditional marketing. The candidate will help evolve and transform digital media strategy and performance for key clients, connecting their goals and target audiences with engaging and relevant customer-centric advertising experiences. An insatiable curiosity combined with the ability to translate intelligence and ideas with flawless execution is essential. The candidate will need strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and be comfortable with learning new tools. We are looking for someone who has the curiosity to understand the “why” behind the work and the data. We are seeking someone who approaches work with curiosity and excitement around learning new channels and skills and finds joy in knowing no two days will be the same.

The Media Lead will collaborate with all parts of the media services organization, working in concert with analysts in the Search, Social, Digital, and Traditional media spaces. Comfort working to build and refine processes, as well as collaborating with other parts of the team, and external clients is important.

  • Support creative brainstorming and planning for custom digital media client partnerships, with a heavy focus on niche and holistic brand experiences
  • Media planning and buying across display, video, audio, mobile and social channels, owning elements of planning and execution (in partnership with analyst teams)
  • Utilize media planning tools such as Nielsen, Comscore, eMarketer, Prisma, DoubleClick, and Forrester for application/analysis into competitive landscape, target consumption support, plan development, and reporting
  • Monitor trends, tools, opportunities, and applications in paid media environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge
  • Develop and present digital media specific documents such as RFPs, media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions
  • Create campaign post launch monitoring and reporting to demonstrate proof of placement and optimization for clients
  • Manage day-to-day communication with key partners: Vendors, Partner Agencies, Creative Media and Social clients
  • Report on campaign performance with the ability to distill and curate insights and findings. This includes the development of client performance reports in concert with key client support roles; Client Partners, Engagement Managers
  • Provide thoughtful collaboration between Strategy, Analytics, Creative, and Engagement teams
  • Demonstrate ability to work with media tools, platforms, and partners to deliver against core client needs
  • Participate in case study development and thought leadership as needed

Skills:

  • Strong ability to articulate strategy, rationale, and fresh ideas
  • Demonstration of ability to plan and execute advertising based on ROAS and sales data
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, consensus-building skills, and leadership abilities
  • Amazon/eCommerce experience Required
  • Strong understanding of search marketing, ability to mentor/guide analysts
  • High level of confidence, self-motivated, proven leadership experience
  • Demonstration of strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Desire to learn more of the trends shaping consumer behavior today and in the future
  • Positive and willing attitude, team-oriented, and a strong desire to learn and excel
  • Experience with media planning and buying tools
  • 4+ years of experience in hands-on media planning and execution

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field and 6+ years’ agency experience required
  • 4+ years of experience in hands-on media planning and execution
  • Preferred certification Google Ads, Bing, Meta, Pinterest, and other of emerging media vehicles.
