We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation’s biggest companies. Our client has a need for a Manufacturing Engineer. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening. For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.

Manufacturing Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Your specific duties as a Manufacturing Engineer will include:

  • Compensation (Range): / hour $46/hour – $48/hour
  • Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. Operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process. At this level, projects are of moderate scope and responsibility or may be a significant portion of a major and diverse project or process; decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and/or managers. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work for support personnel, contractors and suppliers.
  • Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of moderate scope.
  • Provides support and troubleshooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyze data and implement solutions.
  • Innovates and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope.
  • Applies electronic tools across a broad range of applications, including e-builds, modeling and simulations.
  • Develops and implements plans to support lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System of moderate scope. Designs operations layouts.
  • Leads team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency of moderate scope.
  • Leads analysis, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology.
  • Analyzes and makes modifications to existing performance pay plans; assists in development of baseline data for new performance pay plans.
  • Candidates must be open to all shifts, 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Overtime is likely either during weekdays or weekends.

As a Manufacturing Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • B.S. Weld Engineering/Weld Engineering Technology
  • Manufacturing Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering with Weld Emphasis,
  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering with 3 yrs Automated Weld Experience
