The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology invites applications for an Instructor, Lecturer or Senior Lecturer starting in August 2022. This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited position. Expectations will include teaching undergraduate level courses.

An earned MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and excellent communication and English skills, both verbal and written, are required. Extensive relevant industrial experience in lieu of a Master’s degree may be considered. The position may continue semester-by-semester, dependent upon performance, department need, funding, and student enrollment. The ideal candidate will have practical industry experience in electrical engineering or a closely related field and a strong background in avionics: navigation, communication, flight management, flight control, air data sensors, engine control and cockpit systems.
