The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist is a client-facing role situated at the forefront of our Cyber Security strategy and digital transformation efforts. Reporting to the Cyber Security Practice Leader, the IAM Specialist plays a critical role in helping design, strategize and advise clients to align their Identity and Access roadmaps and technology priorities, working with them to deliver new solutions that enable customers to realize the vision of information technology transformation.


Lead and advise customer engagements centered on planning, operation, and management of IAM initiatives, contribute to the development and growth of the Cyber Security domain and Solutions practice, further subject matter expertise through development of service offering and partnership with external business.

Partner with appropriate Client business stakeholders to plan, implement and support identity and access management systems and their respective technologies

Project/Engagement leadership

POV creation, vendor alignment strategies and operational efficiency reviews, providing guidance as Subject Matter Expert in the IAM domain

Deliver client specific IAM consulting and support, serving as a trusted IAM partner

Development of IAM standards, procedures, and guidelines

Advise and implement IAM best practices and frameworks

Work closely with business stakeholders and product owners to identify business requirements and translate to design solutions

Implement IAM concepts, including federation, authentication, authorization, access controls, identity, and access provisioning life cycle

Support clients with IAM audits, assessments, and exams

Collaborate with peer engagement leads to define and establish best-in-class, effective, and consistent engagement practices

Assist with vendor reviews and technology evaluations

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

1-3 years IT Consulting or equivalent experience

1-3 years’ experience implementing key elements of IAM protocols (e.g., Single Sign-On, Multi Factor Authentication)

3 years of experience across information security, information technology and/or risk management.

Functional experience across key IAM focus areas, including Active Directory, access revocation, entitlements management and reconciliation, and account monitoring.

Functional experience with identity and authentication principles and technologies

Knowledge of both functional and rule-based access control

Knowledge of current compliance regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2) and IAM solutions necessary to meet them

Understanding of access requests, approvals, and certification controls

Demonstrated ability to self-direct project outcomes, with minimal supervision to achieve goals

Ability to build consensus and cooperation as well as to influence, interact and negotiate with senior leadership

Strong communication and customer relationship skills

Experience with Microsoft Office suite including MS Project and Visio Industry information security certification (e.g., IAM, CIMP, CISSP, or related)

IAM Technology Certification (Cyberark, Sailpoint or comparative)

Knowledge of change, project, or agile management methodologies and principles and the ability to integrate them into project design

Leadership/Team Management Skills
