2nd shift hours: Monday – Friday, 2pm – 10pm
Summary/Objective
The Engineering Technician will provide technical support to day-to-day operations of the Assembly and Water jet Departments, assisting in the design of manufacturing processes. Robotic troubleshoot, Conducts tests, implement continuous improvement, troubleshoot equipment and processes, and solves routine operational
The Assembly technician will assist Production Team lead managing human resources when required
Key Responsibilities:
Upkeep of Safety Devices devices, including Light Curtain and Safety Scanners. Implement or upgrade wherever needed to maintain a safe workplace.
Help troubleshoot equipment using testing equipment, electrical schematics, and an online trouble shoot water jet robotics
Support Quality issues by implementing water jet fixtures improvements, Poke-Yokes, detect defects.
Work on 6S projects related to Controls.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional manufacturing office and shop-floor environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, and this position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
2-4 years college degree or high school diploma and four or more years of manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC, including RSLogix 5000 and RSLogix 500 platforms
Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus systems
Knowledge of electrical circuits including 24VDC, 120VAC, and 480VAC
Working knowledge of computers and office software
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Keen attention to detail and problem-solving techniques
