As part of our strategy, we want to help decarbonize passenger road transport by providing customers with low-carbon energy products, including EV charging. This will see us building on the strong customer experience we provide today (fuels and convenience retail) with a winning Electric Mobility offer. EV drivers will be able to charge Shell-branded forecourts, as well as at ‘destination charging’ locations (i.e., During their routine stops while shopping, going to the gym or dining at restaurants).

What’s the role?

The role will be accountable for all Property Management real estate activities around out-of-home public EV charging in the US and Canada. This individual will work closely with Shell’s Real Estate Partner to manage all E-Mobility real estate contracts in accordance with Shell processes, governance, and systems

Accountabilities:

The E-Mobility Property Management Advisor is a critical position ensuring Shell’s license to operate through professional contract management, data governance and assurance. The role is responsible for the implementation and operation of E-Mobility contracts across the E-mobility channels.

The E-Mobility Property Management Advisor’s main responsibility will be to administer Shell’s various E-mobility real estate contracts ensuring Shell’s contractual rights are enforced, contractual and tax obligations are met, and serve as the hub and funnel through which completed negotiations are incorporated into the real estate portfolio.

The E-Mobility Property Management Advisor is responsible for leading the operational setup of each location, ensuring that the site real estate operations commence smoothly, and all systems, processes and governance are followed.

The E-Mobility Property Management Advisor is the financial focal for the E-Mobility Real Estate team, serving as the control point for payments and receivables, and monitoring/updating the RE opex and book values. The Property Manager is also the focal for RE Data Governance and Group Records Management, ensuring accuracy and secure accessibility of real estate data and records

The E-Mobility Property Management Advisor will also lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Shell’s RE L2 Partner’s Property Administration team who perform the property management tasks on Shell’s behalf and be a key stakeholder focal point for the real estate team interacting with Sales & Ops, Marketing, Network, Legal and Finance teams

The E-Mobility Property Management Advisor will be the MYP T&R focal point for budget forecasting for the 3 year running cycle and monitor and forecast opex and finance capex to provide consolidated LEs to E-Mobility RE Manager

The E-Mobility Property Management Advisor ensures full compliance to the relevant Network Imperatives particularly Group Records Management; and provides Assurances to the E-Mobility RE Manager of this compliance and is the lead focal point for the Real Estate system TriRiga.

Skills & Requirements

What we need from you –

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

Real estate education (e.g., Degree, certification) preferred

At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably managing Real Estate Programs.

E-Mobility experience and/or a good understanding of the overall Mobility business will be an advantage

Well-developed project & opportunity management skills. Being able to lead and drive work across multiple workstreams to ensure the successful delivery of an opportunity across its lifecycle.

Excellent stakeholder management skills: comfortable managing both external relationships & large range of internal stakeholders to successfully deliver EV charging opportunities

Experience in managing external partners, supported by strong communication, negotiation and engagement skills

Delivering results through others, by fostering a collaborative relationship and exhibiting personal leadership

Understanding the real estate regulatory and market environment.
