Job Description

With a new and dynamic leadership team in place, WDG is seeking an entrepreneurial Director of Professional Services to lead our growing team and own the end-to-end implementation of new customers and legacy upgrades on the updated SaaS platform. We are looking for a leader to deliver successful go-lives that maximize high customer satisfaction while minimizing client costs and time to value.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee portfolio of WMS implementation projects and management of implementation team consisting of Solution Architects, Project Managers and Associate/Senior Consultants to ensure successful project go-lives
  • Provide thought leadership to help design the Professional Services strategy for WDG, including executing on the strategy to define processes that deliver high Customer Satisfaction (C-SAT) scores along with consistency in on-time and on-budget projects
  • Establish a strategic roadmap to scale professional services as the company grows exponentially in order to maximize growth in SaaS ARR
  • Clearly define implementation models and SOWs that meet the needs of our various customer segments
  • Attract & retain top professional services talent, and motivate your team by building a high performing culture that rewards delivering customer value and developing a world-class consulting organization
  • Build workforce plans on new projects to ensure the right mix of staff and skills to meet the business needs, and maximize team utilization
  • Define and coordinate appropriate level of coaching, mentoring and training of team to increase Da Vinci product & industry knowledge, either directly or through others and support professional development and career growth of team
  • Partner closely with Product & Engineering in delivering customer feedback and prioritized requests for product development that achieve high satisfaction and align with company objectives
  • Manage customer executive relationships and serve as the Senior Customer Success advocate for clients during implementation
  • Manage project risks and handle escalations, working cross-functionally as necessary to deliver resolutions with minimal direction
  • Communicate transparently and effectively with executive leadership team, partners and investors, sharing the Professional Services strategy, and using stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to strategy

Requirements

  • A self-directed leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who proactively takes ownership and is excited to scale our team and company
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership across WMS implementations of varying complexity and client sizes with achievement of strong results
  • Expert level technical knowledge of WMS and distribution facility operations
  • Ability to see the “big picture” and assume ownership over the professional services and implementation roadmap
  • Possess good communication skills and strong driving force. With this ability, team members can accept their ideas, and the successful collaboration of the team will ensure the success of the projects
  • 7+ years of experience in managing and leading teams on WMS project implementations
  • Demonstrable experience training and developing a high performing team
  • Working knowledge of extended supply chain management modules, including TMS, YMS, & LMS as well as ERP
  • Strong work ethic with a getting things done mentality focused on delivering results
  • Experience and/or desire to be a part of a high growth SaaS start-up environment as one of the senior leaders while the company scales from early stage to 100+ employees
