Job description: Are you a digital marketer who is passionate about delivering a differentiated customer experience? Join our Digital and Demand Generation team as a Digital Media and Advertising Associate and be responsible for supporting the delivery of strategic and tactical initiatives to market Macquarie Asset Management’s campaigns and programs using digital channels.

Reporting to the Manager of Digital Media & Marketing Automation, you’ll work on ad campaigns to create best-in-class experiences for our clients and prospects using both company-owned channels as well as third-party advertising and publishing partners. Your deep, working knowledge of Google Ads and other ad platforms and partners will see you drive results across the business. This role will play an essential part in the broader marketing initiatives that will contribute to the success of the business.

In this role, you will:

  • Be an expert in digital marketing strategies to drive more effective campaigns across retail and institutional audience channels
  • Collaborate with distribution and channel marketers to audit key publisher networks used to promote campaigns and content
  • Create strategic marketing plans working with publisher networks to identify the most effective strategies and cost-efficient approaches for digital marketing campaigns
  • Create an inventory of media buy pricing across publisher networks and be the center of knowledge base for working with publishers across permission-based email, digital ads, third party events and content syndication strategies
  • Emphasis on SEM, SEO, pay-per-click, display ads, and retargeting strategies and deep experience negotiating media buy with partner networks
  • Be a proactive, detailed-oriented member of the marketing team, helping to drive effective direct and digital marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Working with the demand generation, digital and channel marketing teams to plan, build, execute, and evaluate digital advertising assets and partnerships for campaigns
  • Help implement remarketing strategies with knowledge of segmentation best practices from data sources such as CRM databases, website user accounts, etc.
  • Strong focus on measurement/benchmarks of industry advertising and vendor relationships to identify trends and insights
  • Tracking and reporting on advertising and vendor performance within campaigns and programs and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs) to provide recommendations and influence future digital strategy
  • Testing and learning with various audiences to improve the client journey and increase conversions
  • Management of digital ad vendor and publisher relationships and related information/agreements
  • Maintain a list of industry publications, events, conferences, sponsorships, etc. that align with the campaign strategy for the best ROI

Ideally you will bring the following skills to this role:

  • Experience executing SEM, SEO, pay-per-click, display ads, and retargeting strategies
  • Hands-on digital platform experience with SEMRush, Screamingfrog, CrazyEgg, Google Ads (Search, Display, Remarketing), Google Analytics and Tag Manager and the ability to assess competitive levels for keywords and audience, and the resulting impact on CPC/CPM
  • Confidence with managing large media budgets and executing campaigns within allocated parameters
  • Proven experience in keyword projections, A/B testing and other methods to improve conversion rates
