We are looking for a senior level, industry specialist who understands global advertising and marketing trends, the infrastructure supporting those trends, industry specific analytics and measurement, and customer journey development powered by the Cloud. Leveraging the richness of the AWS cloud computing platform, and Amazon Advertising Ad tech capabilities this person will be responsible for industry thought leadership, voice of the customer and sales enablement.

Key job responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include engaging with key industry customers, engaging strategic industry partners, partnering with sales business development, and product service teams to assist in the development of solutions frameworks and regional sales engagement strategies and execution. You will work closely with AWS solutions architects and partner teams to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions for the vertical. You will also work closely with the AWS and Amazon Advertising product and services teams to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid adoption by advertising and marketing customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience working with advertising and marketing industry customers across segments such as advertising technology, marketing technology, measurement platforms agencies and media companies. He/she will possess a technical BD and/or consulting background that enables them to drive business engagements and credibly work with technical leaders, software architects and developers about the advantages of cloud infrastructure for marketing transformation, customer 360, 1pd utilization, customer and campaign analytics, and integrations of this across the ad tech and martech industry. They should have a demonstrated ability to think analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership and drive is a must. Being scrappy is highly valued.

  • The right person will be technical and analytical, and possess at least 5+ years of business development and/ or consulting in the advertising and marketing industry.
  • Deep expertise in advertising and marketing technology is required
  • Expertise in Driving Marketing Transformation assessment conversations
  • Broad reaching relationships and large network in the vertical.
  • Strong leadership skills are key, with proven verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Experience working with new product/service development teams and their outbound function
  • Experienced and confident working with Sr. Stakeholders and Executive teams
  • Track record of working with senior partner and customer executives (e.g. CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO), building close relationships, and closing large revenue accounts.

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $147,900- $200,009/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. The pay range for this position in New York City is $162,690 – 220,109/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical knowledge of infrastructure and architectural patterns for common industry workloads such as CDP integrations, Data Lake architecture, Customer journey personalization and messaging, paid, earned and owned media planning, activation and reporting.
  • Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented leader.
  • Knowledge of campaign analytics, KPIs and other key measures of marketing success
  • Strategic problem solving and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, developers, and senior business leaders.
