Role Description

LVT is in pursuit of a world-class Agile Coach who can elevate the way we develop software and share learning across every technology department. An Agile Coach is part developer, part servant leader, and part industry best-practice expert. An Agile Coach knows how people learn best and can connect with one person or a large group. They observe situations and cater solutions using correct principles to solve unique problems. They do what needs to be done to ensure LVT maintains a smooth development and communication process. They get creative and aren’t afraid to stand on the board room table and give a fiery speech about why their ideas need to be accepted! In short, they don’t just advise, they thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Experience working with software teams to reduce work in progress and achieve focus, boost collaboration, and remove roadblocks
  • 2 years or more experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Manager, Process Engineer, or in Lean Product Development
  • 2 years or more experience leveraging Atlassian products like JIRA and Bitbucket for teams to visually manage their workflows. Someone with Administration experience would be preferred.
  • Experience operating under a “DevOps mindset”, which is more than just infrastructure as code, and includes: Agile Software Development, XP, Lean Manufacturing, Theory of Constraints, CI/CD, self-service tooling and deployment, Visual Management, TQM, and DevOps
  • Help build the LVT Way of developing new products and features
  • Help navigate work to meet projections and collaborate constantly on ways to improve predictability
  • Help build and maintain robust and well-loved development tools (Issue reports, communication tools, JIRA, Value Stream Maps, Workflow tooling, ect)
  • Organize all Development teams under a single “Standard of Work,” that is comprehensive enough to facilitate cross-pollination and tracking, but loose enough to fit the needs of each team
  • Help build and maintain a world-class training program for new employees that supports and encourages the growth of each employee and the LVT Way of working
  • Be the master of your roadmap, including making your contributions visual and well-understood
  • Consistently improve a world-class employee orientation and onboarding program with exceptional survey scores
  • Create a useful and informative dashboard of metrics for company consumption that includes but is not limited to:
  • Deployment Frequency
  • New Feature Lead Times
  • Defect Rates
  • Mean Time to Recovery of Services
  • Onboarding training success rate per course and department
  • Work satisfaction surveys
  • Team Retrospective Data
  • Successfully be perceived as champion of the “LVT Way”
  • Represent the culture of LVT for company and clients
  • Master LVT Development tools to an admin level within 60 days of hire date
  • Maintain a current library of training resources
  • Invest in employee relationships with all
  • Help plan, prepare and attend conferences, expos, and other events as needed
  • Assist the Technology team in training, learning initiatives, and standard work/best practices
  • Research latest industry trends, software techniques, or philosophies to ensure that LVT is on the cutting edge of best practices
  • Ability to present to company in company-wide meetings, team settings, and others
  • Show a valuable increase in employee job satisfaction, company process improvements, customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to the values and goals of the company in an impactful, trackable, and measurable manner

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, IT or Equivalent
